The workshop will give attendees a range of new ideas and strategies to promote local creative/wellbeing services including Age of Creativity events. Sessions will be led by Up for Arts broadcasters, who all work across BBC local radio producing high profile arts campaigns. The workshop will touch upon - storytelling, personalisation, producing user-generated content, press releases, how to manage the broadcast interview, effective use of social media and how to create media spokespeople. Information handouts will include toolkits and briefing papers and some key contacts. The format will include - an opportunity to test out practical skills learnt. Refreshments will be provided. This is a free workshop, but places are limited (15).
