The Age UK Index of Wellbeing in Later Life research shows that older people greatly value creative and cultural activities. The Age UK Creative and Cultural Activities in Later Life went further and outlined the barriers and opportunities in supporting older people to take part in more opportunities. Now the NEW Age UK Creative and Cultural Inspiration Pack has been designed to support local AUKs to develop their creative and cultural offer in their area. This Creative and Cultural Inspiration Day brings this new document to life and provides peer-to-peer learning, networking and expert advice for local Age UKs.
We will work through the document together, using the event as an opportunity to gain greater understanding of the approach, partnership models and ask plenty of questions as we go. Learning from real life examples, a range of speakers will help you to think through the 'art of the possible' in your area and plan your next steps.
If you would like to attend this FREE training event then simply email firstname.lastname@example.org
This event is an informal peer to peer learning event and will respond to the needs and expectations presented on the day. To help shape the event, please let us know what would be of most use to you locally in advance by email. On the day, please bring along any issues or opportunities that you would like advice or support on.
