Firstly we want to show the world your creations and those of people you work with, whether they be knitted, painted, written, spoken or sung to celebrate what can be achieved from home. Regardless of age we want you to post on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pictures and or recordings of your creations using #ageofcreativity and #ThursdaystheDay.
Our second initiative is that the Age of Creativity is to engage in a Creative Ageing Snapshot in partnership with Creative Ageing International, and many other organisations. On Thursday in both May and October 2020 we will be asking four key questions to explore how the impact of lockdown has influenced our work in the short term and how it could transform our work longer term. The following questions will be raised:
7th May/ 2nd October 2020
Since Lockdown'¦how is the cultural sector adapting to deliver creativity for, with and by older people?
14th May/ 9th October 2020
Since lockdown'¦how are people living with dementia engaging with creativity?
21st May/ 16th October 2020
Since lockdown'¦how has the role of creativity changed in the Age sector?
28th May/ 23rd October 2020
Since lockdown'¦how are we supporting older people with limited digital access to enjoy creativity?
More details will be shared across the network and made available through social media platforms soon. If you would like further information before the Creative Ageing Snapshot goes live then please get in touch with: firstname.lastname@example.org
